DCC has been named one of the top employers in the National Capital Region for 2019.

Presented by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers since 2006, the regional awards recognize employers in Ottawa-Gatineau that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

"At DCC, our value is in our people," James Paul, President and CEO, said. "Winning this prestigious award is recognition of the importance we place on ensuring employees have the support they need to advance in their careers and live healthy, balanced lives."

As part of the selection process, employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. DCC was singled out for, among other things, its benefits plan, including the employee health spending account and wellness allowance, and its extensive awards and recognition program.

Along with Mr. Paul, DCC's Vice-President, Finance & Human Resources and CFO Juliet Woodfield and Kimberly Morgan, Manager, Human Resources accepted the award at a ceremony in Ottawa on January 30, 2019.
