As this issue of DCC at Work reaches you, Defence Construction Canada teams across Canada are continuing to deliver services, with most staff working remotely and minimal crews providing critical services on site.

Despite the challenges involved with doing business this way, DCC has been keeping procurements and projects moving to support Canada's defence and security organizations.

At the same time, we are vigilantly protecting the health and safety of our employees, and everyone with whom we work—Client-Partners, contractors and consultants.

Our work would not be possible without our industry partners, and we recognize that they are coping with a situation that is well beyond their control in many ways. To ensure fairness to them, we will be granting consideration for excusable delays in their work for us, as provided for in our contracts, without penalty.

I am proud of the efforts of the DCC team to ensure operations continue to run smoothly. On their behalf, I wish to assure all our Client-Partners and industry partners that we will remain on the job as long as this situation lasts and public health authorities allow, and to thank them for their ongoing collaboration.
